Christians believe; Jesus is the only way to be saved, God is love and doesn’t want any to perish, only those drawn by God can come to Jesus, love conquers all and God will not lie.
God promised the ancient Israelites a physical world where all could live in peace. God promises Christians eternal life like Jesus has, the Holy Spirit is our guarantee.
Some wonder, how can all these statements and promises be true. Can they all be completed with the second coming of Jesus? Will those from the Old Testament times have physical bodies as promised, in heaven? If no, does that make God an unfaithful liar?
God will fulfill all his promises. All who ever lived will have the opportunity to accept Jesus as their saviour in a physical world. The wicked will perish. Christians will be resurrected to immortality at the return of Jesus. But it won’t all happen at the same time. Our God is an on time God. He has a plan and he will stick to it.
Ephesians 1:10 Contemporary English Version
10 Then when the time is right, God will do all that he has planned, and Christ will bring together everything in heaven and on earth.
Psalm 37:7-9 King James Version
7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.
Romans 8:28 21st Century King James Version
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Galatians 6:9 Holman Christian Standard Bible
9 So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.
Do you think salvation will come to those, who didn’t hear, or were not called to Jesus by God? What about those born before Jesus was crucified, how could they accept a sacrifice that had yet to be made? List the ways humans can gain eternal life and salvation?
