Lesson 4

The gospel of the kingdom of God declared by Jesus and the Bible describe a thriving and dynamic future for all who will dwell there. The believers who are resurrected or changed instantly into spirit beings at the return of Jesus become kings and priests in the first thousand years of the Kingdom’s earthly rule. Working with, guiding and caring for those left alive, after the war deposing all earthly kings, will require a never ending supply of love. Those believers have a lot of responsibility to get ready for, now during this life.

Revelation 5:10 New King James Version

10  And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”

Rejuvenating the world’s ability to sustain life will be a major undertaking even with the healing waters flowing from Jerusalem. The physical world will need to be rebuilt along with all of society. From the family, up to the national level, all will have to be put on a Godly footing. Building the Kingdom of God from the literal ground up, will take every skill set believers have to offer. Leading and guiding people down God’s pathway of love will not be for the faint of heart, but that is the job Christians have been called to. What talents will you bring to the Kingdom of God?

Matthew 24:21-22 Modern English Version

21 For then will be great tribulation, such as has not happened since the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be. 22 “Unless those days were shortened, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

Zechariah 14:8 New Living Translation

8 On that day life-giving waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half toward the Dead Sea and half toward the Mediterranean, flowing continuously in both summer and winter.

Luke 1:33 Darby Translation

33 and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for the ages, and of his kingdom there shall not be an end.

Jesus will give those who believe in him eternal life and they who have it will live with him and God in the kingdom for all eternity. What will the children of God be doing for that eternity? His kingdom will never end, is that just in time, or is it because the universe is expanding? After rebuilding the earth, will we be dressing the cosmos?
