Love is the most important fruit crop the Kingdom of God produces. When we let his Spirit lead us in love it not only grows in his followers, it seeds itself and waters its own new chutes. Those who steadfastly continue in God’s love, spread his love to others on the winds of their faith. His underdog heroes’ loving actions tend to those seeds as they take root in the lives of new believers, ever expanding his Kingdom, as it will have no end. Those who persevere will become the new leaders, as his Kingdom envelopes the earth at the return of Jesus. What is the most important trait humans can develop? What personality traits are developed by those who sin? What will God reward those who overcome with, and when will they receive their reward?
2 Peter 1:3-11 International Standard Version
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the full knowledge of the one who called us by his own glory and excellence. 4 Through these he has given us his precious and wonderful promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, seeing that you have escaped the corruption that is in the world caused by evil desires. 5 For this very reason, you must make every effort to supplement your faith with moral character, your moral character with knowledge, 6 your knowledge with self-control, your self-control with endurance, your endurance with godliness, 7 your godliness with brotherly kindness, and your brotherly kindness with love. 8 For if you possess these qualities, and if they continue to increase among you, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in attaining a full knowledge of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah. 9 For the person who lacks these qualities is blind and shortsighted, and has forgotten the cleansing that he has received from his past sins. 10 So then, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election certain, for if you keep on doing this you will never fail. 11 For in this way you will be generously granted entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Messiah.
Revelation 1:5-6 King James Version
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Luke 1:33 21st Century King James Version
33 and He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His Kingdom there shall be no end.”
