Lesson 25

Not everyone who confesses that Jesus is lord will enter the Kingdom of heaven. We must be living a life that reflects the caricature of God. Developing and demonstrating His good fruits in our lives, showers His love on those we interact with. Jesus told us to live out the Fathers love for the world to experience. When we get it right it will bring praise and honor to God for His blessings that come through His servants. We will undoubtedly fail frequently at demonstrating His love as love is not just a one-time occurrence. Displaying the love of God requires ongoing effort and a lot of trial and error. The important thing is that we don’t stop trying. We have all the tools we need to get it right as the Spirit will guide us in our efforts. What reward is waiting for those who overcome? What will happen to those who give up and stop trying?

15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
