Lesson 24

Unworthy former Christians will be cast alive into the lake of fire. Many will think they have done the work of Jesus during their lives and be shocked by their fate. Death and the grave will be destroyed at the same time, they will never be needed again. There are now no mortal humans left to pass through them. Everyone who has ever lived will have had their opportunity to accept salvation. At the Great White Throne Judgement, anyone who has not accepted Jesus will die for the second time and will remain dead for the rest of eternity. They will never be resurrected back to life again, the second death is permanent. Unworthy Christians, death, the grave and Satan will all be thrown into the lake of fire. Satan will remain there alive and in torment, for he is an immortal being. Those who faithfully follow Jesus will not be hurt by the second death, they will be resurrected as incorruptible spirit beings. Why won’t everyone follow God and live? Why are some called by God to Jesus during their first life? What attributes do the people called by God have?
